Testimonials

Alan sold us a lake home 10 years ago and after my kids grew up we stopped using it. We decided to sell but choose an agent just down the road because we thought his location would make a difference. After a year on the market we had no offers and very few showings. I contacted Alan to see if he would be interested in listing our place. He was pleased to help us and we received an offer after 1 month on the market. This offer was too low but a few weeks later we had another offer that was acceptable to us and we closed the next month. Alan was a superb agent when we bought our house. He listened to what we wanted and found us the home we were looking for. The only regret I have is that we wasted a year with another agent before going back to Alan. I would recommend Alan to anyone who is interested in buying or selling something on Lake Sinclair. Bill and Bonnie
Alan Haley is the best agent I have ever used. He worked with us for months and never gave up trying to find us a home. Once we found the property we wanted, he worked even harder to get the home at a good price and follow through with all the other details. He helped with locating inspectors, arranged for utility transfer, and made sure the attorney had what she needed. I will recommend him to anyone looking for a Lake Sinclair home. Carl and Cindy

Increases in the Northeast and Midwest were offset by declines in the South and West.

The Pending Home Sales Index,* a forward-looking indicator based on contract signings, inched 0.2 percent to 111.0 in June from 110.8 in... Read More

NAR-backed Condo Legislation Passes U.S. Senate, Offers Relief for Homebuyers

WASHINGTON (July 14, 2016) — The U.S. Senate tonight passed H.R. 3700, the "Housing Opportunity Through Modernization Act," by unanimous consent. This legislation includes reforms to current Federal Housing Administration restrictions on condominium financing, among other provisions, and is long supported by the National Association of Realtors®.

Changes include efforts to make FHA's recertification process "substantially less burdensome," while lowering FHA's current owner-occupancy requirement from 50 percent to 35 percent. The bill also... Read More
